5:40am Set off on my own from Kings Langley towards Watford, all kitted up with head light on, joined the canal at Hunton Bridge heading south. I realised very quickly that the headlight is good in the dark but not that good in the Fog! I fell over after about 20 yards and narrowly missed falling in the canal! Anyway fog cleared a bit and I ran to Rickmansworth along the canal and back going through West Herts golf course on the way. Very enjoyable felt good, got wet from the fall and the rain. 13.6miles 1:47
