Slept well, up at 5am, kit on, warm up and steady stretch. Freezing out so wrapped up in thermals! Set off very steady for hopefully a decent but not fast run. Legs a little stiff but ok, nice run through Kings Langley, Hemel and Berko. Out to Nothchurch and down Dudswell Lane to the canal. Ran on the tow path towards Tring, started well, good and level unde...rfoot, deteriorated quickly to all mud and puddles! Back on the road up to the A41 and back through to KIngs Langley and home. Last 5 miles were very tough, but not as painful as yesterday, probably due to slower pace. Anyway, pleased to have completed 21.5 miles in 2'56" not record pace but at least I did not stop.
Busy day, 6pm to Joel for a stretch and deep tissue massage session, still amazes me how tough it is,! Now back home and the ice!!i 4 days to go!
