Planned rest day.

Up kit on quick warm up and out for a run with the dogs. A nice steady slow 10k was my aim just to loosen legs. All good, lovely chilly morning through the golf course and down to the park. Legs feeling the last few days work but soon bedded in. Unfortunately for my legs I met an old mate, Dicky from Kings Langley FC. He is training forLondon and the Watford half. I ran round the park with dicky and his friend, good chat but the pace picked up more than I needed! We got a bit carried away and did an extra lap! Anyway, very enjoyable run, happier people, most replied positively to my good morning's, which was nice. 12.4k complete in 1'02", longer and quicker than planned! Home, shower, change and off for a proper breakfast, 2 poached eggs, bacon, sausage and 2 granary toast, spot on. No more running today! All good.
