 13 Days to Start!

Up very late after a 5am late night! 1st ever New Years Eve without a drink!

Warmed up in the gym and set off at 1:45pm, I ran from Kings Langley to Hemel through Apsley, to magic roundabout and up duel carriageway to Maylands Avenue. Started to rain heavy at this point, the first time I have got totally wet on a long training run since I started training on the 1st September! Ran to Grove Hill and down the New Road and up to Gadebridge, up to Boxted Road and turned left to Warners End. By this point clothes very wet and heavy, turned right down Long Chaulden to the end and then left up Northridge Way and finished at Ridge Lea. 11.2 miles 1hr 32 mins. Nice and steady, had a good push up the last hill and felt strong but knees hurt a bit. Less ankle and inner calf problems when road running but knees suffer alot more. Ate and drank well before the run and only drank a little water on the run.

Happy New Year
