MARATHON TRAINING
17 MILE RUN - 24/2/2013
Gade Valley Harriers held a training run meeting in Hemel Hempstead, for people wanting to join an organised run prior to the season's marathons. Over 450 people took part in this well organised event, on a freezing cold February morning.
Framework Foundation had three runners taking part, Matthew Loddy, Mark Jewell and Simon Geary. In the next few weeks, Mark is running in the London Marathon, raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust, Simon is running 5 marathons in 6 weeks for the Hospice of St Francis and Matthew will be running 30 marathons in 30 days for Teenage Cancer Trust.
